Help us collect a share of this money by buying the Cambridge News  starting 30 Jan 2012. Cut out the tokens and follow the instructions. All money raised will be used to support our youth workers who are essential to our work, building positive relationships and giving appropriate advice.

We currently have vacancies for Volunteer Youth Support Workers, Paid Sessional Lead Youth Workers, Trustees and Fundriasers. For more details please see the vacancies page.

Drop-in youth clubs on converted double decker buses for young people from secondary school age upwards, operating in venues around Cambridgeshire.

Currently operating 5 nights a week in 16 venues.

Facilities include: PCs with internet access, PS3, Xbox 360, DVDs, Karaoke, tuckshop, variety of sports equipment, information and advice, quizzes and crafts.

At least 3 youthworkers are on the buses each session and are happy to chat and point young people in the right direction when in need of help or advice.

The buses have wheelchair access to the lower deck.

A great weekend was had at our residential 1-3 Apr. 26 young people took part in 7 different outdoor activities and two eveing programmes. Learning how to work better as teams and communicate effectively. Watch this space for full report shortly.

It has been confirmed that the proposed cut by central government is going ahead. We are continuing disucssions with individual villages as to how we can continue to provide our much needed services.

Funding cuts mean we will not yet be returning to Caldecote, The Eversdens or Teversham this term. But we are talking with Parish Councils to find possible solutions so watch this space.

Official launch of new bus this Saturday 6 Feb at Histon Football Club 2pm. Cllr Nightingale (SCDC) will be cutting the ribbon, and young people from the project can gain free entry to the following football game.

Launch is open to all, please come along and have a look round.
