Trustee vacancies on our Management Committee
We are actively seeking two new Trustees (voluntary position) to join the Management Committee, which meets formally about four times a year. If you have an interest in supporting a local charity then please consider this opportunity. We are particularly looking for those with experience in one or more of the following:
- human resources
- youth work
Previous experience as a trustee is not a requirement. We are looking for people enthusiastic about our work and young people.
Trustees need to be over the age of 18, have enthusiasm, sound and independent judgement and strategic vision, can work effectively as part of a team, and can devote the necessary time to the charity’s work. They must not be disqualified by law from acting as a charity trustee or nominee.
Sessional Youth Workers
Do you have a desire to support young people to achieve their potential?
We require a number of committed individuals who have the skills to engage positively with young people during youth work sessions on our youth bus or youth club settings. Some experience of working with young people is essential. Sessions can start at 4pm or 7pm across Cambridgeshire.
As COVID restrictions continue to be lifted we will be in a position to open up more of our busy youth work programme and will need experienced and new youth workers across the county. If you might be interested or want to have a chat about it, please do get in touch.
Pay scales depending on experience and qualifications and range from £11.10 to £14.52 per hour.
The following are positions that are ongoing and may or may not be required at the moment. Please get in touch if interested:
We have an exciting new project supporting CHUMS in providing a venue for their mental health services for children and young people. This requires our youth bus to be out in villages during the day as a venue for appointments. For this we are looking for people willing to drive our double-decker bus to up to two venues in the day, park and then operate the internal equipment as needed, before returning the bus to our depot. Other staff will be responsible for visitors and carers.
You will need to have held a full-driving licence (category B – car) for at least 2 years and be aged over 21. Having a valid HGV or PCV license would be a bonus. We will provide appropriate driver training for the vehicle.
You will need to be available from approximately 8am to 3:30pm, one day a week.
The following are not currently required:
