Volunteer Drivers

We have an exciting new project supporting CHUMS in providing a venue for their mental health services for children and young people. This requires our youth bus to be out in villages during the day as a venue for appointments. For this we are looking for people willing to drive our double-decker bus to up to two venues in the day, park and then operate the internal equipment as needed, before returning the bus to our depot. Other staff will be responsible for visitors and carers.

You will need to have held a full-driving licence (category B – car) for at least 2 years and be aged over 21. Having a valid HGV or PCV license would be a bonus. We will provide appropriate driver training for the vehicle.

You will need to be available from approximately 8am to 3:30pm, one day a week.
