The Cottenham and Rampton Lunch Club Afternoon Tea is a special community event bringing together local residents for refreshments, conversation and entertainment.
This volunteer opportunity is open to young people who have completed the Generation Game Project.
As a volunteer, you will be expected to use the skills and knowledge gained during the course to support residents throughout the afternoon. Duties may include:
- Helping residents to find and take their seats.
- Assisting with the serving and distribution of refreshments.
- Supporting residents to take part in activities and quizzes.
- Helping with setting up before the event and tidying away afterwards.
- Offering support where needed and contributing to the smooth running of the event.
We would particularly welcome volunteers who may already know some of the residents attending.
Volunteers will be required to wear their Generation Game T-shirt and will be accompanied throughout the event by Andrea Cowley and Ellen Fisher, Generation Game course tutors and Youth Workers for The Connections Bus Project. If you would like to be part of the team, please complete this form.
We are looking for a maximum of 6 young people to take part. Places will be offered on a first come first served basis.
